Bruder House
Main Street, Keene, NH
The Bruder House has received an exterior restoration and total interior renovation to become the Welcome Center and large meeting room for the adjacent Wyman Tavern. As the entry to the Wyman Tavern complex, the building now has a meeting room, gift shop, kitchen and ADA toilet facilities, as well as brand new mechanical and electrical systems. The exterior brick work was restored and repointed and the windows replaced.
An exterior open timber frame gathering area leads to the Wyman Tavern, and includes an operating/teaching example of an early kitchen cooking fireplace.
