A new house on the south side of Granite Lake in NH.
Approaching the house speaks to a traditional two story grand wide frontal gable shingle style house, with a stone base.
There is a moment in the approach when you see directly through to the glimmering lake on the other side.
The site dictated an angle of the garage wing which ’slides’ into the main house to a recessed front entry.
The single story flat roofed lake side living rooms are more modern with expansive glass and a ‘soaring’ roof that
carries the eye out and over the hills to the other side of the lake.
