This 11,000 SF Marvin Window retail display showroom and warehouse building is both traditional in design and a cutting edge display of glass technologies. The windows are 1920s retail showroom scale, in a dark tined butt glazing. A residential scale Marvin double hung, clear glazed, window is set into the field of flush glass –like a rear lit theater scrim. The brick building is adjacent to the new 200,000 SF Municipal Facilities building, takes its clue for the interior angled plan from this municipal building’s relationship to the street. This is the first structure to establish a new quality level for the revitalization of Marlboro Street as the new gateway entry to Keene. With the cars out back, the building is along the street, where it belongs.
